Minimoon Getaways

Bahamas BeachOftentimes it’s just not financially possible to take a lengthy, luxurious honeymoon. Or maybe it’s not the finances, but perhaps you can’t get away from work for an extended period of time.

Because many couples are now looking for shorter honeymoons, hotels and resorts are recognizing the trend and offering “minimoon packages” for three or four night stays.

These mini-honeymoon escapes include all the romance of a lengthy honeymoon, but are just shorter in duration.

Destinations for minimoons are normally within the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean because you can get there relatively quickly. No reason to waste your precious time sitting on a plane!

I recently learned about this fabulous minimoon package to the Bahamas.

Breezes Bahamas offers their “Cable Beach Minimoon Package” starting at just $1,290 per room (doesn’t include airfare). This resort is located on 1,000 feet of Nassau’s white Cable Beach. The resort has 400 rooms, a casino, restaurants and more.

The all-inclusive price includes accommodations, all meals, snacks, premium cocktails, water and land sports facilities, equipment and instruction. All taxes taxes and gratuities are also included. They don’t allow tipping!

You get three nights in an oceanfront room, massage services, candlelight dinners, champagne and much more. If you are looking for a shorter honeymoon with all the luxury of longer stay, this trip looks like an incredible bargain.

You can learn more about the Breezes Bahamas resort by calling 800-467-8737 or visiting breezesbahamas.com.

I’ve heard about these little vacations and i’ve been told they are a really great value. We’d like to go on one soon. What a contrast from something like a cruise, where “premium cocktails” can skyrocket your original price estimate!

We took an Alaskan cruise, I have never heard of these “mini” honeymoons, very cool idea though. If you can do the cruise thing though I would highly recommend it!
