Are you using a wedding planning software?
If you aren’t hiring a wedding coordinator but need to get organized, a wedding planning software can prove to be invaluable.
These software programs allow you to keep track of your wedding budget, deadlines, vendor information and more. You can make your guest list, set your seating plan and create checklists.
The price of wedding planning software programs varies tremendously. Some are over $100 or require a monthly membership, while others are completely free!
I researched around the Internet and found a few programs that are very affordable and functional.
My Wedding Companion is one of the more simple interfaces to use for planning your wedding. You don’t need to be a computer wiz to utilize this comprehensive program. It offers a great variety of functions and is priced at $49.95. But everytime I’ve visited their website, they are having some kind of special for $29.95.
My Wedding Organizer is another good software. What’s great is you can get a free trial and test drive it. If you don’t like it for any reason, then hey, you don’t lose anything. If you decide to buy it, it’s also just $29.95.
If you are looking for something that’s FREE (and who isn’t?) consider EZ Wedding Planner. This is a web-base application – meaning you don’t download anything onto your computer. Instead you keep track of everything in your planner online.
This is good for several reasons. First of all, you don’t have to worry about a software slowing down your computer. But more importantly, you can use it anywhere that you have Internet access.
With other software programs if you download it on your PC at home, then you won’t be able to check it from work or from your laptop. With this program, you can use it from anywhere. It’s a pretty straight-forward software that provides you with everything you need to stay organized.
