Last night, I was looking through a bunch of videos on VideoJug. If you don’t know about VideoJug, it’s sort of like YouTube but the videos are more professional.
Anyway … they have a big collection of wedding planning videos and one that I found to be very comprehensive was about how to choose your wedding cake. The video demonstrates all the steps you need to take to select a wedding cake that reflects your own wedding style and taste.
Choosing your wedding cake is one of the more fun parts about planning your wedding. You get to visit a bunch of bakeries and get treated like a queen, while sampling tons of delicious cake. Even the groom likes this part of wedding planning!
Check out the video when you have a chance and let me know what you think.

Hi,
I was reading your blog, and I wanted to introduce myself and invite you to check out my website. Creations by Lonni designs headpieces and accessories for that fashionable bride who wants a fabulous headpiece that is not your typical tiara. My signature look is beaded flowers made with Miyuki Delica beads and embellished with crystals and funky looking pearls.
I’ve been getting some attention from upscale salons and others in the bridal industry.
Take a look and let me know what you think. I’d love to hear from you!

Hi Lonni!
I’ll let someone else chime in on the accessories themselves…
Looks like your products are very nice - the one comment I would make is that the pictures of them look somewhat blurry. From our experience with online sales, I can tell you that the pictures are extremely important. I’m no fashion expert, so that’s as far as my advice goes

Our cake was so simple and yet so elegant. I just chose a basic white 3 tiered cake with a basic swirl design. Then I had my florist add our flowers to the top and tier down… I wish I could use a picture, it was so pretty. We actually had a package deal with our wedding. We got the location for the ceremony and reception, food, drinks, tables, table cloths and all those accessories, and the cake all included in one package. So we didn’t go looking for a cake lady, but the one that was included was great and it was a super yummy cake…chocolate with a coffee based filling and then our favorite (the top of the cake and one of the other layers) was pina colada - filled with a pineapple cream cheese filling OH MY IT WAS SOOOOOOO GOOD!! Okay enough rambling for me…it was just a great cake

Tiffany blue is a really nice color isn’t it? I guess that’s why we decided to use it on our web sites
