Recently I caught a segment on the Today Show about designing your own wedding dress. I think so many brides out there would love to design their own wedding dress, but for most that is a very costly expense.
The Today Show mentioned that iVillage.com features a “Build Your Own Wedding Dress Tool”, so I went to check it out for myself. It is a neat little tool, and seems like it could really help you work out the ideas you’ve had for your dress. See the segment they played on the Today Show.

I put the dress I made under the “your website” part of the comment form. I think this idea is so awesome! I went into my wedding without a single idea as to what I really wanted my wedding dress to look like. This would have been perfect to help me weed out the things I don’t like and prod out the things I do. Print it out and take it to the botique with you: I want to see the dresses like this. : )
