Eco-friendly or green weddings are increasing in popularity in recent years. And even if you aren’t going completely green with your wedding, you can do a few small things to help out the environment.
For your wedding invitations, use recycled paper, tree-free paper or seeded paper that germinates when planted. Companies like Botanical Paperworks offer wedding invitations on beautiful, handmade plantable seed paper. The paper grows gorgeous wildflowers. Check out the options at BotanicalPaperworks.com

Rumors have been flying that Ashley Olsen was engaged to Justin Bartha and planning a $1 million wedding.
But according to her rep Nicole Caruso, the gossip isn’t true.
“Contrary to several tabloid reports, Ashley Olsen is not engaged to be married,” Caruso told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement.
No doubt any Olsen wedding will be magnificent whenever it happens. Good luck to Ashley and Justin in their relationship. Maybe wedding bells will ring someday.

A beautiful gift idea for your bridesmaids is a necklace that they can wear on your wedding day.
It doesn’t need to be anything really expensive - just something nice to show your appreciation.
This deep red pendant necklace from Dabby Reid Ltd. is a fantastic choice. It features a large stone complemented with several crystals along the chain.
If red doesn’t suit your wedding colors, it also comes in clear crystal or black. You can get this necklace now at Nordstrom for under $100.

I always find it interesting to see what couples choose as wedding favors.
Some give trinkets, some give candies and others give really cute, functional favors. I went to a wedding last month where the couple gave a scratch off lottery ticket to each guest.
To me, it seemed like they forgot to get favors so they just ran out and got 200 lottery tickets at the last minute. So, what do you think is a dollar lottery ticket a tacky choice in wedding favors? Or it a fun idea to give your guests a chance to win a big prize?
