When Beyonce married Jay Z in a very private ceremony earlier this year, the event was kept away from the paparazzi. Many thought that the couple would reveal pictures of the ceremony at a later date, but so far it’s not happening.
Many Hollywood couples invite a particular magazine to their wedding for exclusive photos (at a huge cost to the mag, of course). But Beyonce scoffs at the idea.
“Now, they offer crazy money that’s just ridiculous. But in the end, absolutely not,” Beyonce said in a recent interview. “It’s so not worth it. If anything, if you wanna put something out, then put it out, not for money.”
“We worked really hard at keeping it private. I’ve always been this way, and he’s always been this way, so that’s why we complement each other. We always knew that it would be private and quiet, for all the right reasons.”

An eco-friendly idea for wedding favors is to buy mini potted plants and decorate the terracota pots with the names of each guest.
You can choose flowering plants, mini bamboo trees, cactus or whatever you like. During the wedding, you can use them as place cards and then afterwards guests can take them home as wedding favors. Functional, fun and eco-friendly too!

If you are trying to cut costs on your wedding, eliminate the fresh flowers.
I don’t mean get rid of flowers altogether – instead use silk flowers.
Silk flowers are simply gorgeous and no one will know the difference. You can utilizes them in your centerpieces and then re-use the centerpieces in your own home for years to come.
If you love the scent of fresh flowers, you can still use them in your bridal bouquet and replace all the other flowers at the wedding and reception with silk.
