I wasn’t a big fan of color on wedding dresses either until more recently. I really like the accent now though. Like the picture that is up…I love that the sash kind of matches with her flowers! It’s a great way to tie in the wedding colors!

That would be beautiful, great colors. Unfortunately for bridesmaids, they are usually the ones with the pink “froo-froo” dress hehe . Surprisingly, there are still a lot of bad bridesmaids dresses out there!

I agree with the traditionalist approach. I like white and ivory, too. But for “themed” weddings, or weddings that take place during the winter, I love either red or a deep wine as an accent color. For spring and summer, both champagne/blush and sage green make gorgeous and soft accents.

Oh, I definitely agree about the fit and style. If you wear a pink “froo-froo” type of gown, it will definitely come off like a prom dress.

I’ve seen some nice wedding dresses in pale yellow and greens lately that have looked pretty nice though.

LoL, nice…I think the colored gowns are starting to grown on me, I didn’t really like them at first, but I think they are definitely becoming a new trend. It depends on your body style and the way the dress fits you too, otherwise it could look like a prom dress instead of a wedding gown.
