Letter Your Legacy

Posted on May 23rd, 2008 by Kori Ellis in Wedding Gifts 8 Comments

If you are looking for a unique wedding gift for the bride and groom, check out Letter Your Legacy. Adam and Stacy Teague, the company’s founders, used their skills to create a very neat gift idea that I’m sure the couple will really love.

Letter Your LegacyUsing her photography skills, Stacy took many photographs of things that resemble letters. For example, a dripping icicle shapes an “E.”

Letter Your Legacy then puts together a series of the photos to create an abstract depiction of the couples last name (or really any word that you’d like). This gift is perfect for bridal showers and weddings, or even anniversaries and new births.

To match the decor or personal style of the recipient, you can choose from a selection of different frames and matte colors on the company website. When the piece arrives is ready to hang on your wall.

To learn more about Letter Your Legacy and view examples, visit, where you can also get an order form. You can email in the form or just call Letter Your Legacy at (405) 762-2125. The 4, 5, and 6 letter words are just $69 and 7,8, and 9 letter words are $79.

Wedding Gifts: Pretty as a Picture Frame

Posted on January 2nd, 2008 by Courtney in Wedding Gifts 5 Comments

Ality Photo FrameFrames, frames, and more frames. That’s what I remember getting for my wedding. Well, frames and probably three different crock pots.

I don’t know what it is with people buying wedding gifts, but it seems when they run out of ideas, they always fall back on frames or small kitchen appliances. Not that I’m complaining (a gift is a gift), but still.

An amazing alternative you might want to hint at, though, is the newest version of the Alita Pixxa Digital Photo Frame that will be hitting store shelves early in 2008. If you’re not already, you better make sure you’re tech savvy by then!

This new frame isn’t your average digital photo canvas either: while it can run off of a simple memory card, it also has the capabilities to connect to Flickr or Picasa by WiFi to display your favorite photos. As if that wasn’t enough, it can sync with your Google calendar to remind you of appointments or display specific photos on specific days. How’s that for a way to remember your anniversary?!

Of course, as with every cool gift idea, this one comes with a price: $299 to be exact. The designers at Ality will certainly be making a pretty penny off of this frame, but the price is reasonable when you consider how much other, less impressive, digital photo frames cost. At least, I think so.

Maybe you have a rich uncle that will be willing to splurge though. At the very least, here’s a fallback gift option you probably wouldn’t mind having. Come to think of it, it’s so cool it’s probably not on the last resort gift list. In that case, you better start hinting now brides-to-be!
