Every bride needs to pack a wedding day survival kit with must-have items to help you handle any wedding day disasters. From clear nail polish to a sewing kit, you should have everything in one convenient place.
I’ve come across a variety of companies the sell pre-packed wedding emergency kits, but one of the best is Ms. & Mrs.
Their Wedding Day Survival Kit comes in a silver reusable train case and features over 30 items you may need. Inside the kit, you will find - Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Dental Floss, Mints, Drinking Straw, Pain Reliever, Antacid, Hand Lotion, Emery Board, Clear Nail Polish, Nail Polish Remover, Facial Tissues, Deodorant, Tampons, Adhesive Bandages, Hair Brush, Hair Spray, Bobby Pins, Interior Mirror, Lint Remover, Mending Kit, Scissors, Safety Pins, Stain Remover, Static Remover, Super Glue, Double-Sided Hem Tape, Earring Backs, Corsage Pins, and Extra Wedding Bands.
This kit is priced at just $49. What’s cool about Ms. & Mrs. is that they also offer different survival kits for the groom ($49) and for your bridesmaids ($18).

We’re working hard getting Truly up and running, and we’re surrounded by chaos. We live in Southern California, San Diego, and as most of you know, we’ve been battling wildfires for the last 5 days. We’re lucky that we haven’t been evacuated, but have come very close. In the midst of this chaos, we continue working long hours to get ready for the launch of Truly Wedding Favors. Our hearts go out to the thousands of families in San Diego who lost their homes in this tragedy.
As if the fires weren’t enough, this morning I discovered that someone had broken into Eric’s truck! The door was wide open, and the stereo equipment was missing. It looks as if the thieves rummaged through every nook and cranny, including the glove compartment. We’re definitely disappointed; we’ve lived in this neighborhood for 3 years and have never witnessed an incident like this here. In the midst of all this, we feel lucky to have been kept safe in our home. We’re in the office again, working on the task at hand, feeling positive about what the future holds.

Wedding guests who chartered a bus from Philadelphia to attend a wedding held in St. Louis, MO. got more than they bargained for on the road home. Shortly after they crossed over into Ohio, the bus began smoking and eventually burst into flames.
The group of 55 had traveled from Philadelphia to St. Louis with the thought of saving gas, time, emissions, and hotel stays by renting the tour bus. Everything seemed to be working as they hoped until the bus driver began smelling smoke. After realizing the smell was not from a rider trying to sneak in a cigarette, he pulled over and noticed a tire was on fire. When tires catch on fire, it is virtually impossible to extinguish them. Even after the arrival of several fire fighters, the fire could not be stopped.
All the passengers and the driver escaped unharmed but their belongings and the bus were completely destroyed.

Well, today is Friday and it has been a very exciting week! We’re really going full-steam ahead building our wedding favor web store, TrulyWeddingFavors.com. My mother, Wendy, recently moved to California and settled in just 4 houses up the street and we’re so happy to have her here working with us. She’s managing our daily operations and doing an amazing job learning new things and keeping us all motivated. It felt that much more real when she arrived and we dove head on into the adventure of building a business together.
We’re really excited about our wedding favors and can’t wait to bring them to customers. My husband, Eric the Web Designer is working hard on the website so that’ll soon become a reality. I think we’ve got all the right ingredients to build our dream business and we all make an amazing team. I can’t wait to see where it leads, so cross your fingers for us!

Welcome to the Truly Wedding Blog! My husband and I began thinking about starting a wedding favor business after our own wedding in May of 2006. We enjoyed every aspect of our wedding so much that we decided it’s something we’d like to stay involved in and thought wedding favors would be a great place to start. We want to help couples like us experience one of the most exciting times in their lives; their wedding day, and hope this blog will help us share our own wedding experience and bring us closer to our customers.
We had such a great time planning everything for our own wedding. We still enjoy talking about all the fun details that went into such a big event. I know how much advice and referrals can help; of course its better to get an opinion from someone with experience. There is a lot that goes into your wedding day and it makes everything so much easier to get a little feedback from your fellow brides. From the fun little things like choosing your wedding favors to grander things like the dress! Leave a comment and let us help you figure out what fits you best.
I remember our wedding day vividly (It was just over a year ago so that’s easy). It was wonderful to see all of our efforts come together. The moment I walked down the aisle, knowing all our family and friends were sitting there watching me as I cried, I almost tripped over my dress! The only thing I was focused on was my wonderful husband to be, staring at me. We were so happy this day had finally come, I don’t really remember saying anything other than “I do” (which I said before I was supposed to… I was a little anxious). I remember wanting to run down the aisle with such joy! After all the pictures were done I was so excited to see everyone and to dance the night away with my amazing husband. I remember the DJ announcing us for the first time as Mr. & Mrs. Ingram, walking into our gorgeous reception, thinking that I had walked into someone else’s wedding. I was in complete shock that all of our ideas and pictures had finally come to life. It was so much more then I could have ever imagined. I know one thing for sure; when you get married, remember to take it all in and to have the best time possible. It goes by like a flash and before you know it you are printing pictures and trying to remember it all.
Weddings are an amazing adventure, why not take the time to share some ideas, offer advice, tell stories, laugh, smile, have fun, and plan an awesome wedding!
