Mori Lee bridesmaid dresses are always cute, flirty and fun. What I like about their collections is that your bridemaids will be able to wear the dresses for many occasions after your wedding is over.
Here are a couple of my recent favorites from Mori Lee. Check out their website at MoriLee.com and look for the gowns at a bridal shop near you.

If you are looking for the perfect wedding jewelry, check out Noaki. Noaki Jewelry is a new line that resurrects the Great Gatsby glamour of the early 20’s. Each one-of-a-kind piece includes resurrected antique items, including shoe clips, broaches and dress pins, predominantly from the early 20th century art deco period.
Here are a few of my favorites. You can find out more about Noaki Jewelry and designer Noaki Schwartz at NoakiJewelry.com and shop for the jewelry at her Etsy site.

As I am sure you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Brides magazine gathered together 21 of the world’s top dress designers and asked each to create a pink wedding wedding gown.
These bridal gowns will be in bridal shops and other stores across the country during the month October, with a portion of sales going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
On October 14th, Brides magazine’s “Something Pink” issue hits the stands. Inside the magazine, they reveal the pink wedding dresses along with a series of dedicated features to the fight against the disease.
The participating dress designers include Alfred Angelo, Amsale, Anjolique, Anne Barge, Atelier Aimee, Badgley Mischka Bride, Carolina Herrera, Christos, Claire Pettibone, David’s Bridal, Eve of Milady, Kenneth Pool, Mon Cheri Bridals, Monique Lhuillier, Mori Lee, Romona Keveza, Reem Acra, Sophia Tolli, Vera Wang, Vineyard Collection and Watters Brides.
Here are just a few of the bridal gowns.

Flowers are some of the most beautiful, and oftentimes most expensive, elements of your wedding. Marcy Blum, wedding and event planner and author of Wedding Planning For Dummies, talks with Lisa Birnbach of Howdini.com about wedding flowers.
Marcy offers some great tips for cutting costs on flowers, including the use of seasonal flowers or inexpensive varieties, such as sunflowers. She also provides some decorating advice to make things a little more dramatic, including the use of candles and only one type of flower rather than mixed bouquets and arrangements.
You should also consider using silk flowers instead of fresh, particularly in centerpieces. Or another alternative is to use flowering potted plants or baskets of fruit instead of traditional floral centerpieces. If other aspects of your reception are more important to you, such as food, wine or the location, don’t be afraid to cut back on your flower budget.

It’s always great to hear wedding bells ringing for couples who have gone through rough times.
Father of four, Rhys Ap Dafydd has been engaged to his fiancee Elaine Griffiths for two years. However, financial troubles caused the couple to cancel their wedding plans previously because he had been laid off from work.
The couple from Machynlleth, England endured the hard times together and now they have lucked their way into a dream wedding. Rhys purchased a Lotto scratchcard on his lunch hour from work last week and he won the big prize – £1,000 every week for a year!
Rhys told the press, “Winning this amount of money and knowing that we will have this every week for the next year is amazing and has lifted the pressure off our family so much. Since getting engaged we have been desperately trying to get married, but the money just wasn’t there to do it. When I first found out I had hit the jackpot I couldn’t believe it. We decided we wanted to get married as soon as possible and we have already booked our dream wedding for 10 weeks’ time.”
Good luck to the happy couple!
